Customer service is one of the most important aspects of a water or wastewater utility, this course will guide the operator through the basics of customer service. This course contains a variety of considerations on how to conduct yourself when dealing with the general public and how to provide excellent customer service. The course will discuss how to handle a customer concern (these should not be considered complaints), understanding and recognizing the importance of excellent customer service , how to treat others with respect and value coworkers and your community partners. The course explains the importance of returning phone calls and communicating with customers in a timely and reliable manner.
