Customer service is one of the most important aspects of a water or wastewater utility, this course will guide the operator through the basics of customer service. The course will discuss how to handle a customer concern (these should not be considered complaints) and recognize the importance of excellent customer service. Understand how to treat others with respect and value coworkers, community partners as valuable members of your team, understand how to handle a conflict with customers, should it arise and grasp the importance of returning phone calls and communicating with customers in a timely and reliable manner.
