A treatment operator must understand the fundamentals of filtration in order to produce a high quality water. This course will introduce the operator to the various types of filters, the operating procedures, maintenance, and common operational challenges in the water and wastewater filtration process. After completing this course you should have a general understanding of the types of filters used, the advantages and disadvantages, testing, and general safety.
