Introduction to SCADA WW

This course will provide the operator with a general understanding of the components of a SCADA or telemetry system, including required instrumentation, terminology, and how a SCADA system would provide additional efficiency to a water or wastewater system. SCADA is an acronym that stands for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. This course contains general understanding of the components and functionality of a SCADA system. The course will describe the central computer control and how the remote terminal units (RTU’s) interact to operate a water and wastewater system.
