Introduction to SCADA

SCADA is an acronym that stands for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. This course contains general understanding of the components and functionality of a SCADA system. The course will describe the central computer control and how the remote terminal units (RTU’s) interact to operate a water and wastewater system. After completing this course the operator should have a basic understanding of how a SCADA system operates.
