Safe Drinking Water Act

This course will provide a brief history of the Safe Drinking Water Act, and the requirements established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The course will identify the EPA’s responsibility to set drinking water quality standards and oversee all states, municipalities, and water suppliers who are required to administer and implement these standards. The course will provide an understanding of how constituent levels are set.
