The course will describe the structure of bacteria, nutrient ratios and the various factors affecting the balance of activity within the treatment process. This course provides the operator with the knowledge of detention time, surface loading, clarifiers, filters, nitrification, organic loading, solids, sedimentation, and suspended growth principals. The multiple operational considerations used in the wastewater treatment process.
