Water Quality

This course contains a general overview of drinking water used in everyday water and wastewater operations.  The course describes the categories, sources, chemical compounds, MCL and treatment processes associated with each constituent. This course provides an operator with a basic understanding of the constituents regulated by the Safe Drinking Water Act National Primary and Secondary Drinking Water Regulations.
